Since 1989
Northwest Tree Service, LLC has served the High Country in Western North Carolina for over 30 years.
Thomas Reed started our business in Ashe County, NC in 1989, as Northwest Lawn Care. Earning a reputation for accessibility and honest dealing, we grew quickly. Our focus on fully meeting all our customers’ needs led us to expand our offerings to include landscaping, pressure washing and tree services. Our tree services – especially tree removal and trimming – were so popular that we established Northwest Tree Service as a separate company in 2009.
Upon retirement, Thomas sold the Tree Service business to long-time foreman and tree expert Tommy Pennington. Tommy carries on the tradition of giving our customers their money’s worth, promptly returning phone calls and fulfilling commitments.

The estimator can also look for additional problems while out on your property and advise you on any tree issues that might need to be addressed before they become serious problems – such as a tree leaning towards a house, threatening personal property and homeowner safety.

Our workers are properly trained – we have routine meetings with our employees to discuss safety. Payment Plans
